1934 Schwerer (Heavy) Gustav and Dora
"were the names of two 80 cm (E) German railway siege weapons from World War II. Its development started at the Krupp company in the late 1930s. It aims to destroy heavy fortifications, mainly in the French Maginot line. It weighed almost 1,350 tons and the range of the 7-ton projectile was 47 km. Gustav was used in the Soviet Union during the siege of Sevastopol during Operation Barbarossa. They fought in Leningrad and, according to narratives, in Warsaw. It was then dismembered by American soldiers to prevent access by the Soviets."
